February Artist of the Month – James Rodriguez

James Rodriguez is a New York illustrator. He attended The High School of Art in Design and the School of Visual Arts.  At SVA, he was taught by comic book legends Walter Simonson, Klaus Jenson and Joe Orlando. Years later, he began to pencil for Phillip Clark’s “Quantum Rock of Ages” which has gained notable creditability. James is a member of the Comic Art Guild and the founder of Novastar Studios, a place for freelance illustrators and graphic designers. Novastar produced and published its first project, “Fantasy Illustration Calendar 2009.” Its second project, “The Chronicles of Sara” will be coming out in the summer of 2009.
