Shadows Lie at Crash Mansion in New York City

If you love rock, you’ll love these guys. I have seen them live and they are phenomenal. They will be playing the next installment of Gotham Rocks on Saturday April 11 at Crash Mansion located on 199 Bowery (at Spring St.).
The music of Shadows Lie is a dark, intense blend of heavy guitars reminiscent of Staind, Portishead-like electronics, Days of the New type acoustic guitars, and vocal stylings ranging from Tori Amos to Incubus. The songwriting is distinctive and intensely emotional yet concise and mature at the same time. For more information, go to www.shadowslie.com.

The gothic works by David Quiles will be in Pennsylvania this weekend at the National Haunters Convention April 10 and 11 from 9am until 5pm at the Valley Force Convention Center located at 1160 First Avenue, King of Prussia, PA. Check out some of the other stuff they have there as well.
The National Haunters Convention brings together professional haunters, Amateur home haunters, Halloween decorators, antique collectors, Horror film fans, and history buffs. While everyone knows about different conventions for different hobbies, no other convention offers this unique combination sure to appeal to a huge audience.
Convention activities will include a dealer’s room, masquerade ball, competitions, and trips to some of the best haunted attractions in the country. But what makes this event stand out for the public is the education section. Lecturers from around the country will be Professors for the weekend, so attendees can learn everything they need to get the most out of Halloween.
