July Artist of the Month – James Rodriguez

James_Rodrigues_July_Belkis

This is without a doubt one of my favorite images in the 2009 Novastar Studio Fantasy Illustration Calendar. James’ image was also featured in the February month. Recently, James has been really busy. He’s working on the Sky Pirates Cover for Trade,  a story for the Psychosis series and the first issue of the Chronicles of Sara. Talk about a workaholic.

Also, congratulations goes out to James’ company, Novastar Studios, who expanded their team by adding Michele St. Martin and Jorge Medina. Can’t wait what you guys have up your sleeve!

  1. Hey, that is also one of my favorite images from this calendar as well. Also, just to give another bit of an update on James, he is also working on a short story of mine An Act of Attrition of mine, to be published in an upcoming titled soon to be released by Atlas Unleashed.

This is a really nice painting, probably the best of the bunch! Is there going to be a new calendar next year?
