The New York International Latino Film Festival

The New York International Latino Film Festival is in town for their 10th Anniversary for its week long event. For the first time, the festival will showcase their films in the same area – Chelsea. Clearview Chelsea Cinemas and SVA Theater will be the participating locations. Tonight’s opening film will be “La Mission” starring Benjamin Bratt. The story is set in San Francisco where Che (Benjamin Bratt) is a ruthless former criminal who discovers his son, Jesse, is gay.

Other films include “Bring it on: Fight to the Finish” starring Christina Milian and “Where God Left His Shoes” starring John Leguizimo. For more information, go to www.nylatinofilm.com.
